Heat the milk: Microwave 1 1/2 cups milk for about 2 minutes, until hot but not boiling. You can also warm it in a saucepan over medium heat if you prefer.
Use a glass measuring cup: Pour the hot milk into a glass measuring cup to make mixing and brewing easier.
Add the hot cocoa mix: Stir in 1 packet of hot cocoa until completely dissolved. (If you’ve already brewed the coffee, you can stir the cocoa directly into the milk-coffee mixture instead.)
Brew the coffee directly into the mixture: Place the measuring cup under your Keurig and brew 1 K-Cup by pressing the big cup button, then the medium cup button. This creates about 2 1/2 cups of coffee, perfect for two servings.
Stir and serve: Give everything a final stir, then pour into two mugs and enjoy while warm.
