Ginger Pear Tea Recipe: The Perfect Soothing Blend
Ginger pear tea is a delicious and aromatic beverage that combines ginger root and pear. This mix is refreshing and satisfying! It is often brewed as a hot tea but can also be served iced any time of the day!
To make ginger pear tea, first gather the ingredients. Peel and slice ginger root into thin pieces. Cut a ripe pear into small chunks, removing seeds and core.
Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil. Add the ginger and pear pieces to the boiling water.
Let them simmer for 10 minutes in low heat to infuse the water with ginger and pear flavor. You can simmer for extra time if you want a thicker texture. It is totally up to you.
Strain the tea if you want (I did not) and serve it hot or let it cool for an iced version.
Add a teaspoon of honey or a squeeze of lemon/lime for an extra oomph of flavor! You can also leave some fresh pear slices in the glasses to look and taste great.
