Equipment

Instructions

  • Prep your workspace first. Line a cookie sheet or large plate with parchment paper and set it aside. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second bursts, stirring between each burst until smooth.
  • Dip the Oreo cookies. Dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate and coat it completely. Use a fork to lift the cookie and gently tap off any excess chocolate before placing it on your lined sheet.
  • Repeat the process for as many cookies as you’d like to make. Let them sit until the white chocolate is completely dry. While you wait, melt the black or dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, again using 30-second intervals with stirring. Once melted and smooth, pour it into a pastry bag or a zip-top bag and snip a small hole at the tip for piping.
  • Now for the fun part, decorating Jack’s face! Pipe two candy-corn-shaped ovals for his eyes, draw two vertical lines for the nose, and finish with a wide, stitched smile to bring that classic Jack Skellington look to life. Repeat on all your cookies.
  • Let the icing set completely, then serve and enjoy!
