Ingredients

  • 3 cups sweet corn frozen
  • ½ stick butter salted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and honey: In a large skillet over medium heat (we love using a cast iron skillet for extra flavor), melt the salted butter and honey together until combined and bubbling slightly.
  • Add the corn: Stir in the frozen corn and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. The corn will begin to soften and soak in all that honey butter flavor.
  • Add the cream cheese: Add the cream cheese to the skillet and continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes, or until it melts into the dish. Stir well to create a creamy, smooth texture.
  • Season to taste: Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper, adjusting as needed. Remove from heat and serve warm.
