Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or your favorite sweetener
  • 1 cup cold water
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Squeeze the lemon juice: Squeeze the fresh lemon juice out from fresh lemons and set aside.
  • Prepare the matcha: In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with a few tablespoons of cold water until smooth and frothy. This helps to fully dissolve the matcha and prevent clumping.
  • Mix the Ingredients: Fill a large glass or mason jar with ice cubes. Add the whisked matcha, lemon juice, honey, and the remaining cold water. Stir or shake well until the honey is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
  • Serve and enjoy: Garnish with a slice of lemon (or lemon zest) for a refreshing citrus flavor if desired, and enjoy your refreshing iced lemon matcha tea!
