The main difference is the texture. There are tons of brands of silken tofu out there; I recommend you find a brand that contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives and is also made from non-GMO soybeans. You should always check the ingredient list before buying any food product if you have allergies or intolerances to certain ingredients.
What Is Silken Tofu
Silken tofu is a high-quality soy product made from the purest soybeans, water(high water content), and a coagulant. It has a soft and creamy texture and can be used in various recipes. The best way to describe the taste and texture of silken tofu is similar to really thick yogurt. Unlike regular tofu, which is usually firm and chewy, silken tofu has a much softer consistency that melts quickly when heated. This makes it great for blending into sauces or making puddings where you want the tofu to melt into the background.
